It all started when…

I was seven years old and with tears in my heart, I answered to the altar call at my parent's little Congregationalist church in Rio, Brazil. Five years later, at 12, I was preaching my first sermon. At 14 I was baptized. At 17 I felt the calling to ministry. At 19 I went to the Congregationalist Theological Seminary and started my Bachelors in Theology. At 23 I went to London and got a higher diploma in church planting and missions at IBIOL, London, UK. In London, I served pastor Colin Dye as an apprentice church planter at one of his Elin Church Congregations. After that, I served as a missionary in Spain for a year then traveled to 22 countries in Europe as an evangelist. At 29 I came back to Brazil where I met my wife, got married, planted 12 churches, four of which are still under my supervision today. Since 2015 my wife and I also work for Dr. Randy Clark as his Coordinators for Brazil.

I am also an experienced worship leader. Our worship team, Pier49, was invited by Sony Music to sign a contract with them. Our youtube videos have reached millions of views (search for Pier49 music on Youtube).

in 2019 my wife and I felt the calling to Canada and we are looking for a church to serve and call home. We live in Rio, Brazil with our two kids, Liz (5) and Zion (3) and we are ready to relocate to Canada.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Theology, a Master’s Degree in Education and I'm currently doing my Ph.D. in Divinity mentored by Dr. Jon Ruthven, Ph.D.

My wife, Dani Rocha, has 15 years of experience as an administrator for Global Awakening ministries working as their head of operations over all their events and gatherings in Brazil. She has also organized crusades and conferences for thousands of people, including two Jesus Culture events.

My wife Dani and I have a high value for Relationships, Identity, Honor, Accountability, and above all, Family. We are praying and asking the Father to open the door for us to serve a church in Canada, a family of believers, with the same core values to help build and continue to advance God's kingdom.

In 2012, after planting many churches including a Congregationalist, a Baptist, and a Vineyard church, pastors Ed and Dani Rocha felt called to plant an independent church in Rio, Brazil, and thus Pier49 church movement was born. The little church they started in their living room grew to have its own building in Rio, Brazil and expanded to three states and six congregations, four of which are still under the supervision of pastors Ed and Dani Rocha.

The worship ministry created by pastor Ed Rocha, Pier49 Music, recorded many albums and videos independently and reached millions of people through social media. The worship videos and songs on the digital platforms called the attention of Sony Music and they invited Pier49 Music to sign a contract with them. GLOBAL AWAKENING

Pastors Ed Rocha worked as Ministry Coordinator for Global Awakening from Dec 2005 to Dec 2012 (7 years 1 month).

Pastor Ed was invited by Dr. Randy Clark, founder of Global Awakening Ministries in PA, USA, in Dec 2005 to plan, prepare, organize and coordinate his mission trips in Brazil which pastor Ed did full time for 7 years.

During these years he traveled and preached extensively within the US and Europe ministering and preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, bring thousands of people into the kingdom, delivering, healing, and restoring a countless number of lives.

In 2012 pastor Dani Rocha took over that position and is today the Director of operations for Global Awakening in Brazil to this day. Pastor Ed Rocha continues to be a part of the Global Awakening Network, always helping Dr. Randy Clark, a beloved mentor, and spiritual father, during his trips to Brazil.

Pastor Dani Rocha started working for Global Awakening in 2006 and has 15 years of experience coordinating from small to very large events. She has vast experience working with logistics, all aspects of church and events administration, as well as staff management and team coordination.

Pastor Dani is still the senior overseer of Pier49 churches alongside pastor Ed Rocha. She has a deep knowledge of all church life aspects, she is a great public speaker, preacher and very gifted and sensitive to the prophetic.

After serving the Lord for over 23 years as an ordained pastor my wife and I clearly heard the Father's heart speaking to us and directing us to relocate to Canada. Our bags are ready and we are looking for a church to serve and call home.
